1. About Evist
This website is operated by Evist (“Evist”, “we”, “us”, “our”).
Evist operates as a commercial intermediary and payment facilitator in relation to electric vehicle (EV) charge point installations. Evist does not install, supply, test, certify, or warrant EV charge points.
2. Nature of the Service
By placing an order through this website, you acknowledge and agree that:
- Evist does not carry out installation services
- Evist does not supply EV charge point hardware
- Installation services and hardware are provided by a third-party installer
- Evist’s role is limited to facilitating the transaction and coordinating the referral
3. Installation Provider
EV charge point installation services are carried out by an independent third-party contractor:

Barlows is solely responsible for:
- Site surveys and technical assessments
- Supplying the EV charge point hardware
- Installation works and electrical compliance
- Testing, commissioning, and certification
- Installation workmanship and warranties
- Health and safety during installation
Evist is not a party to the installation contract between you and the installer.
4. Acceptance of Terms
By completing a purchase, submitting a form, or ticking the acceptance checkbox at checkout, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions.
If you do not agree, you must not proceed with the purchase.
5. Pricing and Standard Installation
The price displayed at checkout or in the purchase form is based on a standard installation only.
A standard installation assumes, without limitation:
- A suitable existing electrical supply
- Standard cable routes and distances
- No consumer unit upgrades
- No groundworks, trenching, or civil works
- No network operator (DNO) upgrades
6. Non-Standard Installation and Additional Charges
If the installer determines that the installation falls outside a standard installation, additional works and charges may apply, including but not limited to:
- Electrical supply upgrades
- Extended cable runs
- Groundworks or drilling
- Surface reinstatement
- Network or utility provider requirements
You acknowledge that:
- The determination of whether an installation is standard or non-standard is made solely by the installer
- Additional charges are outside Evist’s control
- You are responsible for paying any additional costs required to complete the installation
7. Surveys and Customer Information
You are responsible for providing accurate and complete information about the installation site.
Incorrect, incomplete, or misleading information may result in:
- Delays
- Abortive visits
- Additional charges
Evist accepts no liability arising from information provided by you.
8. Payments
Payment made by you to Evist covers:
- Evist’s referral and coordination services, and
- The installer’s supply and installation services, which Evist facilitates as an intermediary
Evist collects payment on behalf of the installer and subsequently pays the installer under a separate commercial agreement.
9. Hardware Supply and Warranties
The EV charge point hardware is supplied by the installer.
Evist:
- Does not manufacture, supply, or install the hardware
- Does not provide hardware warranties
- Makes no representations regarding fitness for purpose, compatibility, or performance
All warranty claims, defects, faults, or issues relating to the EV charge point hardware must be raised directly with the installer.
10. Installation Warranties
All installation workmanship warranties are provided solely by the installer.
Evist provides no warranty in respect of installation services.
11. Title and Risk
Title to, and risk in, the EV charge point hardware passes directly from the installer to you in accordance with the installer’s terms.
Evist does not take ownership of the hardware at any time.
12. Installation Scheduling and Delays
Installation dates and times are arranged by the installer and are subject to:
- Installer availability
- Site readiness
- Completion of any required surveys
Evist does not guarantee installation timescales and is not liable for delays caused by:
- Installer scheduling
- Site access issues
- Third-party utilities
- Events outside Evist’s reasonable control
13. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
- Evist excludes all liability arising from installation services
- Evist is not liable for acts, omissions, negligence, or defaults of the installer
- Evist is not liable for indirect or consequential losses
- Any claims relating to hardware or installation must be pursued directly against the installer
Where liability cannot be excluded by law, Evist’s total liability is strictly limited to the amount paid to Evist for its intermediary services only.
14. Consumer Rights
Nothing in these Terms and Conditions affects your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
15. Intellectual Property
All website content, branding, and materials are owned by Evist and may not be copied, reproduced, or reused without prior written consent.
16. Privacy
Personal data is processed in accordance with Evist’s Privacy Policy.
17. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
